Reentry NYC was started in 2009 by New Yorkers who have friends and family who have been incarcerated.
| Rev. Alison Alpert has been a volunteer in the Federal Prison system since 2005. She received a Masters Degree from Yeshiva University and studied at the Jewish Theological Seminary in the early 1980s (before they were ordaining women). Alison is a clinical member of the National Association of Business and Industrial Chaplains, an affiliate of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, and is ordained as a Unitarian Minister. |

| Rev. Suzanne Wiedel-Pace is a New York State Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who has been a teacher and counselor in reentry programs in New York City. A Board Certified Chaplain, an avid photographer and spiritual guide, Suzanne works with faith-based and spirtual communities to help them develop Reentry-Friendly programs. Rev. Wiedel-Pace received her M.Div. from Union Theological Seminary. |
